Some helpful websites for financial aid information:

• FAFSA Website We also have Free Application for Federal Student Aid worksheets available in the Guidance Office to assist you with the online application.

The Financial Aid Department recommends that the FAFSA form be filled out online at www.fafsa.gov. To sign the FAFSA form online students and one parent must apply for a PIN number at www.pin.ed.gov. For maximum financial assistance, FAFSA forms must be filled out as close to January as possible. Parents and students must have income tax information on the tax forms prior to completing the FAFSA. STMA hosts a Financial Aid Night for students and parents in January.

Scholarships

There are many scholarship applications available for all types of students attending all types of post-secondary options in the STMA Guidance Office. They are located on the far wall of our Career Center. Please stop in to check them out.

Local Scholarships:

To apply for a majority of our local scholarships, the Local Scholarship application must be filled out. Applications will be distributed during a senior class meeting in March. Students that receive a scholarship will receive an invitation to Local Scholarship Ceremony in May.
