Graduation Requirements
STMA High School is on a Trimester Schedule with five periods a day. Each class is worth one credit.
Total= 55 credits
Weighted Grades
*AP (Advanced Placement) & CIS (College in the Schools) classes are weighted. Please see our registration book for the list of AP & CIS classes.
Graduation Information
2024- 2025 Graduation Ceremony
The graduation ceremony is at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025.
It will be located outdoors at the STMA High School Stadium, weather permitting. Length is approximately 90 minutes. Parents will receive email communications about graduation. Please ensure your email address is correct in ParentVUE.
Cap and Gown Information
Ordering of cap and gowns will take place in October by the seniors during a designated SNAP. More information to follow.
Cap and gown distribution date TBD in May as follows:
Tuesday, May TBD
During ALL Lunches: 11:30am - 1:00pm
After School: 3:20pm- 4:30pm
Wednesday, May TBD
Before School: 7:00am - 8:30 am
During Lunches: 11:15am - 12:50pm
If these times do not work due to scheduling conflicts, please schedule a time with the STMA HS office at 763-497-2792 ext. 8001.

Diploma
Graduates will receive their diplomas after the ceremony.

Ceremony Tickets and Distribution
Tickets will be available mid-May. Download the GOFAN app from your app store (recommended method) to reserve your tickets. You will be asked for an access code. This code is your students 6-digit student ID. You will receive six (6) tickets per student. Should the ceremony be moved indoors due to forecasted inclement weather, each graduate will receive four (4) tickets. Please do not contact the school for additional tickets.
Ceremony Attendance
Graduates who will not be attending the ceremony should contact your counselor at 763-497-6525.
Community Service Hours
Community service forms for all seniors are due mid-May.
Disability Accessibility
If you or a friend/family member uses a wheelchair or other mobility-assistive device, you will be able to request accommodations starting mid-May. Please email Corrie Bergen or call Corrie at the number below regarding your needs.

Graduation Rehearsal
On Friday, June 6th, at 9:45 a.m., there will be a mandatory graduation rehearsal at the high school. All seniors are expected to participate in this rehearsal to ensure a well-prepared ceremony that evening. As outlined in the student handbook, “Participation in the commencement ceremony is a privilege, not a right. Students must be in good standing upon completion of the school year to participate in the commencement ceremony.”
